He now works for Functional Performance Chiropractic and Wellness just two doors down from CrossFit Millard, after owning and operating a private practice in Illinois for two years and serving the military as a Chiropractor near Ft Benning, GA. I love Crossfit for so many reasons that it’s hard to condense it into a few paragraphs. As a Doctor and Strength and Conditioning Coach / Personal Trainer, I know Crossfit is the most efficient and effective form of exercise in existence (when done with proper coaching, programming and without sacrificing form). It is the only thing since college athletics that has been able to quench my competitive thirst. It is a daily challenge for athletes of all ages and all skill levels. The community of Crossfit offers a group of people who love each other, support each other and see eye to eye, sharing their love for this sport. Although you can measure your scores against other athletes on Wodify, in the end, you are competing against yourself – to find out how hard you can push yourself, how far you can go, and just to be better. I love coaching because it allows me to use my education and knowledge to assist athletes in achieving their goals and finding their limits in a safe and effective manner. I don’t even call coaching Crossfit a second job, because it doesn’t feel like work – it’s more like fun.
